We are working hard on some teams right now. I'm hoping we can pull them in. We are actually playing in a tourney here in atl the weekend before for free Chick fil a for a year. We are looking at the list of 30 teams signed up for that tourney and trying to pull a team or two. I'm hoping we can have at least 5/6 ATL teams playing in the atl circuit. We have our work cut out for us, but we will die trying. Just trying to find new ways to reach the teams. There are a TON of teams here. The issue is trying to reach them and spread the circuit word. We are on it.

I'm on it. :-) I honestly think DSCA will be a team who can learn some things and really compete. Etitus is another powerhouse here I'm trying to get involved. JohnyB, we are pretty excited about winning free chick fil a for a year for everyone on our team :-)

I really hope this tournament can get atleast 12 teams. So as of now we have signed up or guaranteed to register: Panik Attack, Meatballs, Fully Loaded, Flying V, BiB, Scoregasm, and ?

JKI is also going.

Who is the fourth team already signed up besides Scoregasm, Fully Loaded and Meatballs?

Ha. There's no way we would've tied you guys w/ Chick-Fil-A on the line. Mo' Tussin loves us some chicken.

We'll see you there next year.

I'm pushing to have at least 5 ATL teams. I think 4 from Florida. 3 from VA beach? Tropics? Maybe another surprise team? I can't believe more teams are jumping at a chance to travel and be able to walk everywhere. The teams that don't come are goin to be sorry. This has to be one of the top tourney setups to date.....

It's looking more and more like we may only be able to get 12 teams for this tournament. If that is the case, I think the pools should be set up like this.

Pool A
Meatballs
Flying V
Scoregasm
BiB
Plat Ground Rivals
Georgia Team #5

Pool B
Panik Attack
Fully Loaded
JKI
Tropics
Dirty South Crunkball Allstars
Georgia Team #4

With six teams in the pool, these would work just like they did in South Florida as you don't play the team with your opposite seeding. So 1 doesn't play 8, 2 doesn't play 7, 3 doesn't play 6 and 4 doesn't play 5. My team's schedule in pool play would be the following:

Fully Loaded: Panik Attack, JKI, Tropics and Georgia Team #4
It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

With 12 teams wouldn't it make more sense to have 3 pools of 4? Meatballs, Panik, and Fully Loaded would then be in different pools.

Put us in a pool with FL, Tropics, Meatballs or PA- in that order and we'd be happy. I'd rather see PA in the finals anyways.

Yes, it most certainly would, but the announcement for this tournament said there would be four pool-play games, so if that is going to remain, this is the only way to do it unless you get rid of the pools all together.

So a Pool of MB, PA and FL... wouldn't they just play each other twice? I don't see an issue with this. :-bd

I agree with you; however, if there are only going to be 12 teams in the tournament and the tournament organizers still want to play four pool play games, I don't think there is a way to avoid that unless you make the pools unbalanced.

They can still do 4 guaranteed games (even if they're not all pool games), it just seems silly to force a structure onto the tournament that it really doesn't fit into.

It's all academic, anyway. They might end up with 10 teams or 15, who knows. As of right now, there's only 1 pool.

Now does free "Chick-fil-a for year" mean "one combo per month for next 12 months" or "combo per day for the next 12 months"? Cuz technically "its for a year".

I demand to be in a real pool with the girls from the Tropics and Flying V.

Honestly, this is a better value than circuit money. I would be happier winning sandwiches for a year.

Esp since our league paid 150 bucks of our 275 entry fee. So basically it cost us 125 split up by our team. Talk about a CHEAP fee per person for free Chick-Fil-A for a year. haha

Joe, quit it. I'd much rather no competition for this free Chik-Fil-A. Though it certainly would be fun to see Circuit teams playing GO rules. ;)
