Circuit Cup Top Qualifiers Announced (After 5 Events)

The following teams have automatically qualified to compete in the 1st Annual Kickball365 Circuit Cup Championship!

Remember, at the end of the National Tour, the top Circuit Teams will compete in Las Vegas for a prize pool of awards and cash, with the top eight (8) teams receiving prize money. You can learn more about how you can attend the Circuit Cup by reading the Guidelines http://bit.ly/edY3QP .

We are proud to update you with the first top twenty teams who have secured their spots for the Circuit Cup as "Top Finishers". Reminder, a "Top Finisher" is a team that has finished in the top 4 at any Circuit Event. However, to claim their spot they must register for The Circuit.

The "Top Finishers" after five events are:

* = Team qualified as a "Top Finisher" in multiple Circuit Events

Yes, but they will still need to secure their points for seeding.

Note, if there are only 2 Top Finishers from a Circuit Event who have registered, then at the 30-daymark following that Circuit Event, the unused 2 spots will carry over to the Circuit Qualifier Category.

If there are only 4 League Champions who have registered, then on July 21st, the unused 8spots will carry over to the Circuit Qualifier Category.

You are, but the list below is the "Top Finishers" aka the semifinalists from the 4 Circuit Events so far. If you reach the semi's in Atl, you will be a "Top Finisher". Right now your team is considered a "Circuit Qualifier".

Agreed. Unfortunately, that's just how it is. Kind of like how the Big East gets an automatic BCS berth, even though he know there are 3-4 SEC and couple of Big 12/Big 10/Pac 10 that would curb stomp the winnier of the Big East on a yearly basis.

From what I understand, the seedings will be based on Circuit Points. i.e. If the Circuit Cup was tomorrow. the seeding would be:

3. Meatballs
4. Fully Loaded
5. NYSH
6. TI^2
7. The Situation
8. Flying V
9. Lock it Up
10. I'd Hit It
11. Scoregasm
12. Mo Tussin
13. Inglorious Bastards

I'm only guessing though, as I'm not exactly sure how the seeding is going to go.

Each team's top 2 event scores are used to determine seeding for CC, not their cumulative score (though I think cumulative score is a tie-breaker).

National Tour Scoring CSS Champion Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams with the most total cumulative CSSPoints at the end of the National Tour;

Circuit Scoring (CSS) Champion Prizes include:
• 1st Place Team: $2,000
• 2nd Place Team: $1,000
• 3rd Place Team: $500

National Tour Prizes will be awarded during the competition of Circuit Cup Championship.

Note, any teams tied at a prize level will split the winnings of that prize level and the prize level below it.
