[GA] Official: 11 Teams (Updated 6/7/11)

I heard one pool of 6 was Meatballs, Panik Attack, Fully Loaded, Flying V, M2S, and BiB.

Fixed. BiB has Edge, Howitzer, Dematas, and Antwoo, and they are not traveling with some of the players responsible for errors in the VBKO. I'd say they are more loaded than you guys.

According to the strength of team rankings, (which are what should have more influence over what teams have done), and based on the principle of separating the top 4 with 1+4, and 2+3, and then dividing everyone else up by geography, this is what the pools would look like I guess.

Dude tell me about it... in the past 3 weeks, we've lost our 1,2 and 4 kickers, plus our starting 3b...

Luckily we were actually looking very very good before that, so we're still looking ok. Probably equal to SFKO now. Sucks though because we were about to fly in under the radar and make some noise. #-o

Considering we play the Meatballs about twice a month, I would hope we are not in their pool. I would switch us with Flying V.

Based on location, past performances this year, and additions/losses teams making for this tournament, I would have the following pools:

Pool A:
Panik Attack
Fully Loaded
M2S
JKI
Atlanta team

Pool B:
Meatballs
Flying V
BiB
Scoregasm
Atlanta team

Ok so there will be 2 pools, one with 6. If we could get a 12th team, we could do 3 pools of 4, and everyone advance to elim.

Or, would anyone be opposed to having a couple play-in games, and then a double elimination tournament?

Basically the first two games would be completely random draw, and you'd use those results to seed the teams for the tournament. Everyone gets 4 games, and one bad game in elim doesnt mean you're out of the tournament. Thoughts?

You're lucky, because a format with 2 random games, followed by double elimination tournament, is what we've been practicing around here to get ready for this tournament. Sucks, but everyone else will have a chance now.

I just to find away, but when my boss told me last week he needed me this coming Friday, it pretty much sealed it for me. Driving the 8-10 hrs there would be no problem, but getting back in time for Atlantic on Sunday would not of happened.

If the tropics are looking for a few more, we have 2 guys and 2 girls who want to go, but we capped ourselves at 10 guys and 5 girls. They were gonna join the M2S team that was looking for players, but Bile said they ended up having enough. TROPICS! Wake up!
