2012 Circuit Calendar

According to Jon Simons at the Circuit After Party, neither SFKO nor Austin were officially Circuit Events as of Sunday. Details were supposed to be finalized this week. Since there hasn't been an official announcement, I'd assume that those details haven't been finalized.

Lets hope they make them Circuit.

I would think there's no NYC listed as Admin tends to not release info until they at least have an idea on fields. Once they have a couple options for fields, then K365 starts planning on the rest of the tourny.

to bad BoW is going to be in March. That would be a perfect time for an AZ tourney stop, and Sunday Funday could be a spring training game.

here's the thing, going forward as we add more tournaments, some of them are going to overlap. we don't expect everyone to attend every single tournament. what would be good is if everyone attended their home tournament and at least one away tournament, in addition to the national tournament, and encouraged a lot more local teams to come out, regardless of league affiliation. everyone that attends these is beginning to recognize that we need to bring in new talent, like flying v, dice, portland, the 3 new recess teams out of dc, etc. and by exposing more teams locally, in a low-cost option (for them), we'll continue to see more and better competition across the board.

Yes, but why would we want to overlap a tourney with another west coast tourney? West coast teams will be the majority of teams attending. Plus BotW had such great reviews last year, looks like it will be the prime West Coast stop. Another reason not to go head to head with this tourney.

Agreed, tournaments should not compete regionally. Ideally each tournament would have it's own month with possible EC/WC tournaments sharing a month. You shouldn't have two EC or WC tournaments close to each other.

fair enough, and i good point. doesn't mean there can't be opposite coast tournaments going on within close proximity to each other in terms of date.

He was on crutches and had a huge knee brace. He was pretty fucking slow.

I injured myself in February 2010 and didn't even jog until October. I was pretty slow in february at SFKO, but just fast enough to do an alright job.

You shouldn't have two EC or WC tournaments close to each other.

It's going to be tough to pull that off when demand is high. We're currently working with all event managers to ensure they are not completely back to back with an event in/near their region.
