Ultra Season 5 Pre-Season Rankings/Season 4 Casino Standings

So Season 5 of Ultra starts on February 2nd. Might as well get some excitement on these boring ass message boards by announcing the casino challenge and the pre-season rankings and some pre-season odds. First, I would like to officially congratulate Dave "Duh" Perry for winning the Season 4 Sedlak Casino Challenge turning his $1000 into $6600. He will be awarded a trophy that will most likely be drank out of after SFKO!! At the end of the day, only 5 people won money!! Here were the final dollar amounts at the end of seasons 4:

4. Lost Sage - $3185 - would have lost $500 the last week but bets were void

This season, for those who want to take part in the casino challenge, you will start with $2000 fake dollars. There will be SFKO prop bets as well. Here are the pre-season Ultra rankings with the pre-season odds.

#1 McSorleys - 2/1 - Last season's defending champs are back and look stronger than ever coached by MEATBALL KEVIN! Rumor is that they have added Michael "STU" Johnson to the squad and look like the early favorite to repeat! This team gave up 0 runs in 19 innings of playoff action which is unheard of in Ultra!

#2 Pizza Fusion - 5/2 - So MG Kelly's team came up just short losing a 1-0 heartbreaker in Kansas City to its Meatball counterpart. Will the addition or Corey "I'M BORING" Tiger help put them over the edge this season?

#3 JKI Deep - 5/2 - League President Jon "Kickin" Simon decided he would recruit all of Fort Lauderdale in the off-season picking up a ton of talent! We all knew how good the Balls Deep core was when they shut out the Meatballs a few seasons back and merging with JKI has a TON of potential -- but the best pick up was MMS standout Keith Widing. Will the "deep" line-up help them bring home a championship or will egos take over?

#4 Get Off My Kick - 4/1 - Jay "JHasty" Hazlecorn put this group together in Ultra Season 2 and they didn't win a game until the playoffs. Last season they were an accuracy kick away from knocking off Pizza Fusion in the semi-finals! If this team adds some depth they will be scary in 2012!

#5 Midwest Mushroom Stampers - 6/1. This team is still a mystery as they have played great at times and terrible at others! Losing their best player isn't going to help, but they have been recruiting to become a travel team in 2012. If they can round up some old Riff Raff players, look out!

#6 Fully Loaded - 7/1. Another team that will be a mystery in 2012. Losing some of their top players to free agency, they will need to rebuild to get back to being a contender. It will be interesting to see what TST has in store for 2012!

#7 Ninja Kitties - 10/1. So the kitties were competitve in their first season of Ultra and the top of their order is as good as any. Their defense did struggle at times though. If they can recruit a solid charger and some depth at pitcher they can be a force in 2012!

#8 Beachslappers - 15/1. So former JKI catcher Kaleb Marcantel and Jim Sedlak are trying to revive the franchise that has more WAKA wins than 6 of the 7 other teams in Ultra. There is a lot of unknown talent, but the rookies will have to develop fast if they are going to contend!

FL is ranked way to low. I know its not there circuit team but they should be higher

I got a phone call from the trophy place and they have finished reassembling the POS I bought on eBay. There will be a special trophy presentation before the first pitch on February 2nd. I hope to see you all there.

If Pizza Fusion would have covered the 1.5 over GOMK in the semi finals, BK would have won like $15,000 and taken home the trophy! That game saved Perry and the casino because there was HUGE money on Pizza Fusion in that game!

That's kind of a miss leading statement now isn't it. Looking at the current Ultra teams, what 3 haven't played WAKA, at least 2 or 3 have played less than 2 years of WAKA (not sure of MMS), leaving only JKI Deep and Beachslappers and this is just a shot in the dark, this is the one team with more WAKA wins.

JKI and Meatballs (PF/MCS) definitely won the most total games in WAKA. Balls Deep (merged now with JKI) and Beachslappers would probably be close in total wins dating back to 2007! MMS, Ninja Kitties and Fully Loaded started their franchises in like 2009-2010 and GOMK started in Ultra in early 2011.

Team McSorleys will be in the mix to win the playoffs again..But I would not put your fake money on them for the first 4 games because half the team is playing flag football . Big difference between corey on the mound and myself. We will win but may not cover some of sedlaks ridiculous lines
