If I wanted a better seed, don't you think I would have been on here earlier lobbying? Picking up RED and having Tyler/Dan are big moves that could easily be worth 2-3 spots in the rankings.

NYSH/JKI/SOFA will be a step above everyone and most likely seeds 1-3. Not sure how many teams are coming but I'd say it's within the 15-18 team range, which most likely means 3 pools and a seed outside of the top 3 most likely won't matter.

That's a solid analysis, Brick. You'll beat one of those three if you have all three of those guys mentioned.

Relax over MMS?

MMS is essentially Ninja Kitties plus a few players from MMS... Ninja Kitties won 1 game at SFKO

We've cut a lot of the fat and there are about 4 MMS-ers coming. We won't be on the level they were at SFKO but I think we'll be closer to that than to NK.

Woods is coming too and I think Drew. Not sure who else. Woods is a huge pickup for a team that can't pitch.

Of course, now that I think about it, losing Guanno, Naples and Gabe will hurt our offense a great deal. So maybe we'll struggle to crack the top 8. But we'll see.

With 7 intentional walks! I forgot all about that. So we added two pitchers, which is nice.

But I heard he hurt his knee. Not sure where I heard it but I heard it. 150 times. I know he's lurking.

RED is the wild card. We've never had a dominant pitcher so I don't know how much it will benefit us. RED pitching could make Schulte's life MUCH easier at 3rd and make him look like a stud... I really don't know.

I still give the benefit of the doubt to those 3 teams as well as FL is they come. If you're not viewed as the top seed in your pool, you have a lot of work to do.

If you got Evan and drew you'll be alright. They were both on base all day at sfko. Drew was like 12-13. He's been on fire recently.

He was a last minute addition to SFKO and he'll be game time decision for Austin as well. I guess that's what happens when you have a family and responsibilities. He was a great asset in Florida.

I actually didn't know Sofa was coming.. I'd probably have my final four as this then- JKID, NYSH.. the last two spots between Cobra Kai, Fully Loaded, and Sofa... maybe flying V depending on who they bring, and maybe Relax... If I had to rank these 5 for the final 2 spots i'd go

1-Sofa
2-Fully Loaded
3-Cobra Kai
4-Flying V
19-Relax

Here's the official...unofficial current list.

I'd definitely say NYSH and JKID are the two finalist favorites. Home field advantage made a difference for Relax last year. I'd consider them, Fully Loaded, Non meowing Ninja Kitties, Sofa King, WR, and Flying V contenders for semis. Cobra Kai used to be pretty good, but I thought I had heard that their roster has changed quite a bit recently.

You told me that after SFKO some additional Fully Loaded players were coming over to Flying V, so not really a rumor. Obviously it didn't work out, but was just curious to as why.

Good luck on JKIDeep. They are a great team.

The Fully Loaded guys that were being discussed made a pact with Brick and Joe that they'd only come to Flying V if Tigger was publicly humiliated by being released from his second team in as many tournaments. After the V's bookkeepers released Tiger's .091 batting average for the day, the Fully Loaded guys felt like The V lived up to their end of the bargain.

Tiger offered Jon Simons 12 cigarettes, 3 handjobs, and Zak's shopping cart for the opportunity to be on JKID as Simon's pregame leg stretcher. Simons agreed to a deal that included Zak's cart and the opportunity to kick Tiger off the team after only one tournament.

The MMS team in Austin will be nothing like SFKO. It will be a very slim team. I think an Elite 8 appearance would be a solid day. Only Woods (pitcher) and myself are making the trip from MMS. We will be taking our (MMS) SFKO team to Jaksonville minus 1-2 and adding 1-3 Ninja Kitties. And then we will be taking the best players from both squads to New Orleans.

We are still looking for 1-2 girls for Austin. If we can't find any we plan to pick them up at bars in Austin Thursday and/or Friday night!

I'm really only concerned with being first in one thing: the line for Franklin BBQ on Sunday morning (http://www.chow.com/restaurants/921370/ ... n-barbecue)

I feel pretty confident that no matter what happens on Saturday, if I can get here while there is still brisket left on Sunday, I'll feel like a winner.

I guess you aren't flying in Thursday for the bar crawl, otherwise you wouldn't have to wait til Sunday and could eat there Friday morning.

Franklin BBQ is located fairly close to the host hotel (maybe about 5-6 blocks walk) and I had it already marked on the LSKO map, along with a couple other restaurant/food joints of possible interest, such as Frank Restaurant ("purveyors of artisan sausage, pork and its tasty friends" - check out this video about the restaurant). Max's Wine Dive has red velvet pancakes, and perhaps Oakley might be interested in checking out Hoek's Death Metal Pizza on 6th st.

I'm sure Jay (Captn Relax) can fill us all in on the best places to eat in Austin.

This all comes down to what key players will be going from each team. If jkid had there sfko roster they would be the favorite. I'm pretty sure they won't. NYSH I heard will have full roster and are the overwhelming favorite imo.....I excpect fully loaded to contend for the title as well.....Flying V adding Red is big, but if Dan doesn't go they will go into this tournament like they always do...Overated!.......Ninja Kitties adding Seacat and Woods is also a huge move. NK don't have anyone as good as those two. I also heard the human rain delay tburkett hurt his knee. But I thought he was a slapper? Id expect relax to have a solid team. This should be a huge tournament for sofa king. After the cali tourney this could be there 2nd win of 2012

I don't know JKID's roster for LSKO, but they're probably gonna be missing some big names and have a relatively short roster. Relax are the defending champs, but NYSH and Sofa do appear to be the favorites going into the tournament right now. If Flying V has Red pitching, Tyler catching and Dan charging, then I expect them to make a deep run and contend. Fully Loaded will be right up there as well.

I'm still of the opinion that NYSH are waiting for their moment to shine, and I think Austin is it. They win a close game over JKID

I would say that NYSH would be the #1 seed for this if JKIDeep isn't at full strength.
