For example on Saturday 4 members of Sofas roster are actually players on Los Brew Crew in league play, as well as a member of Dragon army. 6 members of Los Brew Crews roster play on AKT my monday WAKA team, against Sofa. Members of Sofas roster alos play on The Business who was playing on saturday as well. Then everyone plays other nights on other teams and this giant web of teammates is formed.

When it comes to tournament squads people are all over the place.

That doesn't work for my analogy though.

I agree with Horses, "Montani semper liberi" which loosely translates to The Mountains that rest upon WVU Females are Always Free!!!

Also I haven't been on here for a few days and saw a bunch of discussion regarding MMS / Ninja Kitties. The official roster for Austin will include Evan (Anywhere in the infield), Woods (P), Drew (C, OF) and Myself (P) which were not on the SFLA Ninja Kitties plus what appears to be now a fully healthy Horses. That should completely transform the infield from what the Kitties put on the field at SFLA. There are a couple Kitties not going that will be missed and a couple going that will play filler roles in pool play but overall the team is shaping up to be respectable with a chance to make a run and surprise a few people.

My pre-tourney rankings:

1) JKID
2) NYSH
3) Relax
4) FL
5) Sofa
6) Flying-V
7) WR
8) Cobra Kai
...Everyone else

Though I don't know about the Portland team they merged with, Cobra Kai seems to be much weaker now than they have been in the past. Since moving down here I've seen the roster they have to work with now, and it pales in comparison to what they used to have. Their catcher moved out to Portland and he's recruited the best players out there to travel with Cobra Kai for circuit tournies. Until proven otherwise, I'd say this group is a 2nd round of elims kind of team, then they'll play a close game in the elite-8, but lose. If their catcher found some studs out in Portland, I could be wrong... but it will likely take a tourney of playing together to figure it out.

MMS should make the elite 8 in this tourney.

Should. I think we should beat Cobra Kai (assuming they are like 2010 SFKO Cobra Kai) and Whiskey Richard (comparing them to the 2011 LSKO Dicks)

Relax will be interesting. I'm looking forward to playing them again as well, especially since Captain Relax will have them fired up for that game perhaps moreso than they were last year in pool play.

I left MMS out because I heard they were bringing a team made up mostly of Ninja Kitties. I played against the Kitties in SFKO and wasn't impressed. They definitely have some players, but the team was lacking.

Cobra Kai will probably be similar to what they were in SFKO two years ago, but with the addition of the Portland players. I don't imagine they'll be flying scrubs in from Oregon to play. What will hurt them is the lack of depth they may be bringing from home. Some of the folks on their roster team at home are very suspect.

Left out Los Brew Crew and the other teams simply because I've never seen them play.

Relax being at home is huge. Eg: iB at the DC tourney last year... NYSH at the NY tourney last year. Home team has a big advantage. Otherwise I'd have had FL in the #3 spot.

Despite missing Bellman this will still be a better Dicks team than 2011 LSKO with the team picking up people who actually play kickball instead of having 3 rookies on the team.

I anticipate being far better than that joke we put out there in SFKO. Of course, anticipating and doing are two completely different things.

Well, with that combined with your track record I'd rank you above us, too. That's why they play the games.
