Although in fairness, the NL was the name for Thursday night teams and I've always played on Thursday night teams. I was Captain of the NL All-Star team in 2009. The difference was this year, both captains were from Thursday night teams from last year.

I certainly wasn't going to bring that fact up! Haha. Plus there's only 1 true Wednesday team left. (actually OITP, WW, HF3B were all Wednesday teams at one point in their history)

i didnt want to bring this up, but technically there are NO wednesday teams left, because there is no wednesday division.

Nicely done, Festa. I know we don't say it often enough, but thanks for doing all that you do. :D

I think the 5th inning writeup is slightly off -- kicking order was Lindsey, Kelley, me. (I remember b/c I was panicking if the first two were out, then I'd be SOL. :o ) Lindsey = single, Kelley got out (may have advanced Lindsey to 2nd in the process, I can't remember), then I went. Mushed it, nearly ran INTO Josh on my way to 1st, saw Chelsea about to catch the ball, saw Chelsea dropping it, then getting to the base... then all I heard was Ryan saying, "RUN TO SECOND!", so I started, saw Chelsea out of the corner of my eye, so I slid back to 1st but was tagged in the leg before I hit the base. Meanwhile Lindsey was running like a bat outta hell and made it home during all the chaos.

Edited to add: Brilliant strategy on Ryan's part there... totally planned, right?

Intermediate kickball stratedgy, when you have runners on 1st and 3rd with less than 2 outs always send the runner on 1st.

I can't remember if Lindsey was on 1st or 2nd by the time I kicked, so unless she was already on 2nd and hit third when I got to base, then I guess you're right... but jeez, give me some credit here. I'm trying to be nice.

Zak isn't use to the new and improved Zen Stratorboozer. He wants the person that hates Ryan back.

Well, if it turns out Ryan purposely wrote that Kelley got the RBI instead of me, then I'll gladly go back to hating him.

I just found out last night that the HR derby isn't split by gender, so there can only be one winner for the entire thing. I think this is complete crap, but it makes me feel slightly better for not having been named the female victor for the past two years in the GMOT. I was beginning to think Festa hated girls who could kick home-runs.

He does if they aren't on his team

Opinions expressed in this post are Zak's and Zak's alone. Except when the voices in his head take over then they aren't even his.

Might as well blame me. Everyone else blames me for everything that's wrong.

I'm not paid enough for this shit.
