You guys set on 4 rounds of pool play? (in other words were 4 games guaranteed to every team that signed up?)

seems like 6 pools of 4 would be way easier/fairer with 3 pool play games or else you wind up with the whole "teams not playing everyone in their pool" mess

Also where are all the teams from? i've never heard of a lot of them

team names / locations updated.
4 pool play games guaranteed.
Pools have not been decided yet. Waiting Captains Pool to wrap up.

Also, to clarify, we are not doing random regional draw this year.

Yep New Haven has finally caught the circuit kickball bug. When myself and Kyle were telling people about the play at this level, our team wanted to see it in action rather than just hear about it all the time. The Wolfpack are very excited for this tournament and others that we will participate in.

Furthermore flades, we're not as random as you think. CT teams have come out to tourneys in the past, actually last year DC we were there. Kaboombox's Nailed at the Plate. Wolfpak is just the next step in the evolution of competitive CT kickball.

Now Vermont, they may be random. Ad-rock said they run ish up there though

agreed. CT teams have repped circuit tourneys for quite some time, starting with Zak's 1UCK teams of a few years back. I think the big difference between this CT team and past CT teams is that this one is made of all people from CT. 1UCK and Nailed at the Plate relied heavily on availables. Kyle, nice job on putting this together and getting a whole team from CT for DCKO.

I agree with what KaBoomBox just said. This is my first tournament and I've heard stories of how fun and competitive these events are. Thank you again Kyle for organizing a CT team to take part in the Circuit.

Someone said this about an earlier tournament, but stop the madness!! Announce the pools the week before so there can be some discussions on the boards.

They are a decent team if sober

I believe that was two years ago next to Legg Mason. I know they have some talent, a lot of them are anti-competitive kickball or they used to be.

There weren't enough interested for us to get a team up there and I don't think Brick wanted to piece together an inferior team like last year.

Either that, or both teams just want to end on a high note and never play again...

We were barely able to get a team together last year, again there was no interest this year. I wish we were able to go, I had a BLAST last year, one of the best run tournaments with a top notch field.

Just found out who Pistachio Bashio is. A WAKA "all-star" team from DC Lightning.

If anyone played against the Fear Boners last year in DC, it's pretty much the same team. Could make elims.

Yeah, I played against them maybe a couple summers ago in DC Freedom. They had some people who could play, but they also had some holes that Circuit teams would exploit. I hope they have a better showing than last year.
