Little Miss Kickball

Postby Justin » July 31st, 2012, 2:44 pm

Saw the first video on the NYSH youtube site and thought I would share it along with a video about the rules of this league. Interesting "one bounce" pitching stroke zone.

I would not want to see Blake or Corey pitch one of those balls...
As the official spokesman for Dematas' status as a "semi-retired" player, please direct all questions on the subject to me.

LMKI is serious stuff in Texas and has divisions all the way through high school age. We've had a forum for them for a while.

Given the often rabid search for awesome female kickballers-to-be, I still don't understand why people don't recruit LMKI alumnae.

If anyone could get an LMKI-like organization going elsewhere, that would be a gamechanger.

Out of curiousity, unless you were a coach or umpire or something for the high school age group (which would seem kinda creepy for a 20-30 something with no connection to do) how would one know where to start looking for LMKI alumnae?

Now if there were an all women's league that was 21+ recruiting would be a different story.

Those are in a lot of places as well. I know the STL Woman's team won the woman's tournament at the Chocolate City tourney this last weekend.

Yep, STL has a large enough indie scene to support it. My friends from Cartagena (who now travel annually to Venezuela to play in tourneys) should start an international invitational with them ...

For starters, they list the athletes who earned scholarships to put towards college tuition on the webpage ... as well as other adult women's kickball leagues ...
