For the record, I went to the Bogart's on Lombardy at 6:30 and waited till 6:45 because I never saw anyone nor did I see anyone when I walked inside. So thinking it was the other Bogart's, I drove to the one on Ridge Rd, nope wrong one also. So it's 7:30 and I just got back from an unsuccessful meet up. Let me know if the parties still going on and I'll come out.

Yes, unfortunately there was the incident in 1980 where Vader removed Skywalker's hand which caused the band to break up before they really had a chance to make it big. They briefly reconciled in '83, but Vader's health problems prevented them from doing any long term touring, and that's were they bands make their money. They've done a few of small festival show over past five years or so, but often in hard to get to venues.

Haha, yes cowbell rocks. We kept taunting the guys that came up to play Freebird and one guy played Bob Dylan which made Jon happy. Some stoner guy, who we called Vanilla Jesus, got a little crazy playing some blues. Open mic night is awesome since you get some strange cats up there and you can make fun of them.

Yea mostly laughing at the Stoner guy playing blues. We all took turns singing the blues which coincidentaly, the raspy voice Vanilla Jesus was using was very easy to imitate so therefore we were making up our own lyrics.
