Is Trey's #1 Recruit Leaving Panik?

Postby Jared It Up! » August 25th, 2011, 3:58 pm

I noticed that Tyler has not changed his name from Tyler Tiki. Does this mean he is leaving Panik after this circuit year to rejoin Tiki Titans? Discuss.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but Tyler did mention to me at soccer tonight that he was upset that I posted that skinny Trey was faster than Tyler. I stand by that statement wholeheartedly. If that means Tyler has to leave, then Tyler has to leave.

After three weeks of CrossFit, I'll be able to play 16 straight games at an elite level by myself, so it won't matter.

Old John is faster than skinny Trey, and young John is faster than Tyler.

We are 3 for 5 in Circuit victories since Tyler joined PA. Plus if he leaves, that would raise the average team height to 6'4" and age to 38.

Does Trey actually believe some of this crap he writes? Dude is never going to be in "elite" shape again because all he does is talk and take minimal action. What is his excuse going to be when he looks exactly same at CC as he did when I watched him fall down a few stairs and break his phone in DC while still sober.

Trey isn't just starting to workout, he is joining CrossFit. CrossFit is the most elite fitness program that all other programs try to imitate.

Not true at all, Trey's transformation would occur if he did any type of workout program. To prove that crossfit is what you say it is, youd have to take an athletically built person who works out regularly and have them change to crossfit to see if the results vary. You cant take an individual who isnt physically impressive, have them start a program and say only that program is what could make that change occur. I think crossfit has its advantages and disadvantages just like every workout program, but to only promote one thing is ignorant.

I dont really take anything you say seriously. Funny thing is you are completely serious in your response about CF, it changed your life which is great and I get why youre all about it. Just relax with the constant crap about how it is so elite. I destroy crossfitters for a warm-up.

Jersey3bFP, when do you go head to head with crossfitters? If you don't mind, I would like to see you compete against one. Do you do this weekly or is it a monthly thing? Let me know.

I would be glad to dominate you any day of the week. And no Im not talking about a CF workout lets do some real tests of strength and will. Im sure your next response will be some PC challenge acceptance that youll never follow through on. Is this a theme of LIU, first ad-rock now you. Maybe in Vegas youll both come at me so we can get this over with.

I never claimed to be good at crossfit workouts. I am actually not very good at all, I just like the competition aspect of it. You would destroy me. All I say is that crossfit got me through a rough rehab after my knee surgery and I am stronger and faster than before. I really compete with myself, but try to keep up with the other guys at the gym.

Back to the original topic. Trey is more athletic than most people. He will probably be better at CF than me after 3 months. He will see fast gains.

I know the level that you guys at indian hills were at. Was your coach a guy who was our height, grey hair and taught at ramapo? I can't remember his name, but I had a teacher who coached Austin Wall when he won states. He was a good guy.

I think you take one look at me, see my beer gut, and dismiss me as some mediocre athlete. Compare the game that NYSH played with me present (6-3 Panik blowout) to the game that I was not present for (6-2 NYSH win, but closer than the score indicated). I'm pretty sure that even you'll be able to see the impact I have on any athletic field I step on.

As for me not ever being in elite shape again. You may be right. I run two companies, I own a house, I manage my GF's rental property, and I have a GF. All of those things take up a significant amount of time that some people like yourself don't have to deal with at this stage in your life. At some point, though, you'll realize that it's really hard for grown-ups to find the time necessary to get into "elite" shape. I'm OK if I never run a five minute mile again. I'm also OK if I never can do 25 pull-ups in a row, or I can ever bench press 285 lbs again. I've proven myself in that regard.

My dick has been measured. I won. I'll leave it to the rest of you to chase my shadow.

Haha youve won in the measuring contest, obviously we are looking at two different stat sheets. All of your athletic accomplishments are based around 2 kickball games. I dont need to list athletic accomplishments because there wouldnt be a competition. On to your second point, I work in NYC running my department, probably the most competitive economic city in the world. Not to mention being the COO of a non-profit military charity for which Ive raised thousands of dollars and take no pay. All of these things in my life and still I manage to make time to train and compete in events that take far more heart than a kickball tournament.

So before you go pat yourself on your back, you should probably say thank you that Ive even decided to engage in this conversation. The only shadow that should be mentioned is the one youre gut is currently casting. Youre the type of guy who be lucky to be my workout partner.

1 - I was just comparing athletic achievements where we have gone head-to-head. You lost. Bad. I was a difference maker, you were non-existant.

2 - You run the forklift division? That's pretty impressive. I wasn't aware. Also, not making money on a military challenge is pretty cool. Again, I wasn't aware that you didn't make money one weekend out of the year. That's both commendable and very time consuming.

3 - We could never work out together. It would burn too much time adjusting the equipment a foot in either direction.

We should just do a real c0ck measuring contest. Right before the CC final, I'll drop my pants, work up a chubby, and you two do the same. Biggest wang wins bragging rights. We could even have a crowd cheer off for people's choice favorite. Athleticism and strength are dumb. Biggest wiener is the way to go.

Oh Trey your humor greatly amuses me. Its amazing with the amount of d-bag comments you make we havent become good friends yet. However if you ever say a negative thing about the charity I work with we will have a serious problem. Now I need to have someone come over and get the 6 feet of water in my basement out of there. Hope you guys are all ok in VB.

Reading comprehension would have lead you to a different conclusion. I wasn't talking shit about your charity work out program. I was joking you for including a "time consuming" weekend in your list of things that take up time in your week throughout the year. If I included every charity I help out with, it would easily add up to 4-5x as many weekends! In grown up world, we don't count one weekend out of the year as "something that takes up time."

If it were one weekend a year I wouldnt even mention it. I work on it all year round, the events I compete in are only every few months. Now that youre getting in shape maybe youd like to join me on the race I signed for next June. www.youmaydie.com. Think youre up for the challenge?

After I win the Crossfit Games, I'll be looking for another challenge. That race looks pretty stupid, though. I'm more into actual challenges. That looked more like aggressive camping.

Whenever youre ready buddy. Its your call but Ill be nice to you. Then after you can stick around and see what happens to someone when I get mad, Ill be looking for Trey since he will be such a conditioned athlete by then. I try to be a nice guy but he continues to just want to argue and start drama as usual. Im sure he doesnt have the heart to step up to a challenge like this though.
