hampton roads "competitive" league night

it's pretty obvious we all need a new option.

there is an overabundance of places to go screw around and play social ball, but there is virtually nowhere to play overtly competitive kickball. if a circuit league or division partnership were started in hampton roads...

which day/night of the week would work best for you and your team?

I have a feeling more people are worried about location than night of the week. The real questions is are people on the peninsula more willing to travel to the southside or are southsiders more willing to travel to the peninsula. Ideally Norfolk or Hampton is in the middle but I just don't think the available fields are good enough to truly be competitive. Is DHL to far for people on the peninsula and is it available with the WAAR leagues that Ned has going there?

they sortof go hand-in-hand. like, if we're able to get a "central" location, then a week night isn't so bad. but if it's something further out, like southern virginia beach or yorktown, then weekends might work better. but i know in the fall a lot of people do the football thing so sunday afternoon/evening is tough to sell.

i can ask around in chesapeake as well, and see if there's something out here. i found commuting from chesapeake to hampton was almost easier than virginia beach to hampton, because the mmbt usually has less backups than the hrbt. the commute from my work to war memorial via mmbt and our house to war memorial via hrbt is about the same either way, but it always felt like the trip from chesapeake was faster.

so what if we were able to get, like, tuesday night in chesapeake? i don't play any other sports so i don't know if that's a major softball or soccer night (hell, i don't even know what sports play in the fall), but i don't know of any other kickball leagues/divisions that play on tuesdays. maybe suffolk? when does suffolk play? i thought it was monday for some reason...
