Scoring System

The Circuit Scoring System (CSS) is used for:
* Determining the top competitive adult kickball team in America;
* Establishing the pool of eligible competitive adult kickball teams in America for Circuit Events.

The Highest Team Point Total in the CSS will be declared the Circuit Cup Champion.

Circuit Scoring Formula (v.2010):
Total Quality Points Earned Per Event (added by) Total Attendance Points Per Event = Team’s CSS Score

Quality Points rewarded to a Team include:
100 = 1st Place at Event
75 = 2nd Place at Event
50 = Semi-Final Appearance at Event
25 = Quarter-Final Appearance at Event

Attendance Points rewarded to a Team include:
Number of Events Team Attended in Calendar Year (multiplied by) ten (10) points per Event

Example Provided:
Team X attends four (4) events out of the possible six (6) Circuit Events in a Circuit Year.  Team X  placed 1st, 2nd, and made two Semi-Final Appearances at these four (4) events. Team X’s total “Quality Points” would be 275 (100 + 75 + 50 + 50). Team X’s total “Attendance Points” for the year would be 40 (4 events multiplied by 10). Team X’s Total CSS Score would be 315 points.

The Circuit Scoring System Standings are updated at the end of each Circuit Event. The Circuit Cup Champion will be crowned at the end of the last Circuit Event of 2010.

All Circuit Events within the same calendar year will be evaluated under the same standards set at each event. All Events will use the independent rulebook agreed upon by Kickball365 and its Community – The Circuit Open Rules For Use at Official Level I & II Circuit Events v.2010 – at the Summit (Washington, DC) in November 2009.
