The Kickball365.com Open Tournament is looking forward to expanding from the first annual Kickball365 Open Tournament which was held on July 18th, 2009. The first Kickball365 tournament attracted 22 teams from across the East Coast. The second annual Kickball365 Open Tournament is scheduled to host 32 teams on July 18, 2010.
Kickball365 OPEN Tournament

The second annual Kickball365 OPEN Tournament will be a 32 team pool play co-ed kickball tournament. 1st place prize will be $3000 (or more) plus 2011 entry fee to the winning team. Must be 21 years old to play. Teams must have at least 4 women on the field at all times and teams must consist of 8 to 20 players. Expect competitive kickball, food, beer, prizes, a massive DC United tailgate, and overall an amazing weekend!
The Kickball365 OPEN Tournament is the 3rd event in the Kickball365 Circuit. For more information on the circuit, check out http://www.kickball365.com/TheCircuit/. We are utilizing Kickball365′s Official Circuit rules for the tournament. Each team will have a guaranteed 3 games to play. Once pool play is completed, we’ll proceed to a 32 team single elimination tournament.
Additionally, the Kickball365 OPEN Tournament will raise money to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps. Last year we raised $1,500.

Saturday, July 17th
Kickball Tournament
(8:00am – 5:30pm)
Where: DC Carter Barron Fields at 1698 Kennedy St NW, Washington DC. (Home of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic)
Parking is available. There is no Metro location nearby, so please plan accordingly.
Please note you cannot bring alcohol to the fields.
You can bring a tent, but you cannot stake the tent into the ground.
Please remember to bring plenty of water for the entire day!
Lunch Options: Lunch will only be available to the teams that purchase a Lunch Package. We will not be selling individual lunch tickets this year. You either must purchase a lunch package as a team or be held responsible for finding your own lunch.
Field Schedule
8am – Pool Play Slot 1 – 28 teams have played 1 game, 4 teams have played 0 games.
9am – Pool Play Slot 2 – 24 teams – 2 games, 8 teams – 1 game.
10am – Pool Play Slot 3 – 20 teams – 3 games, 12 teams – 2 games.
11am – Lunch/Pool Play Slot 4 – 32 teams – 3 games (12 teams will have to play; the other 20 will have byes).
12pm – Lunch/Elim Round 1 (Sweet 16 to Elite 8; may need to do consolation bracket for the 16 who don’t make the cut but still want to play.)
1pm – Elim Round 2 (Elite 8 to Final 4)
2pm – Elim Round 3 (Final 4 to Championship)
3pm – Elim Round 4 (Championship -> Tourney Winner)
4pm – END
(1/2 hour of reserve time for COT games)

Mimosa Morning AM

Where: Fire & Sage (http://www.fireandsage.com/) in the Washington Marriott Hotel at 775 12th Street NW, Washington, DC.
Transportation: Orange/Blue Line on Metro.
What: Mimosa Drink Specials for those of you brave enough to wake up in the morning.
Fire & Sage is a casual restaurant offering approachable American dishes with a studied simplicity and a handcrafted feel. The all-day menu features starters to share, hearty soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, brick oven-fired flatbreads and entrees.
Flip Cup Tournament & Tailgate with DC United
(3:00pm – 10:00pm)
Where: RFK Memorial Stadium at 2400 East Capitol Street NE
Transportation: Orange/Blue Line on Metro
What: Tailgate with your fellow kickballers starting at 3:30pm in the Parking Lot of RFK. We will have food, kegs, and tables for beer pong, flip cup, and more.
At 7pm we will walk into RFK Memorial Stadium together and watch DC United take on the LA Galaxy in a block section. At half time All Team Captains (those that purchase tickets) will be presented at half-time on the field. Additionally, the winning team from Saturday’s event will be announced will also be presented to the crowd. Players who do not purchase tickets for the game will not be awarded free tickets. The cost of $28 will cover your ticket into the MLS Game and access to the tailegate.
After the DC United game we will have a chance to play a fun quick pick-up game on the field in RFK Memorial Stadium. No cleats allowed.
